Two more chains appear, allowing the player to reach a higher platform. A Red Ring is found, along with three more Podoboos. More ? Blocks are found, followed by a swinging chain. Trampolines are used to reach a Warp Pipe at the top of the area, leading to the midway point.Ī Swinging Hammer allows the player to cross a pit of lava containing Podoboos. More Trampolines are found, along with a P Switch that causes Blue Coins to appear. The player then encounters a lift with a Trampoline on it, moving over a pit of lava with three Podoboos. Another Trampoline leads to a ? Block and a Brick Block structure above the lava. A Trampoline allows the player to progress, where a Koopa Troopa and another lava pit with a Podoboo are located. The level begins near two ? Blocks, as well as two lava pits and a Podoboo. Propeller Mushrooms are the main power-up in this level. This level takes place in a volcano with rising magma. New Super Mario Bros.It is similar to World 8-6 from New Super Mario Bros.The Enemy Course in this world is Lava Bubbles between 8-3 and World 8- Tower on the bridge. The final level features the two-part final battle with Bowser, who is not once seen in the game up until that point. This world also features the third and final fight with Bowser Jr., once again on an airship. The fortress here leads to a fight with Magikoopa, who previously in the game is only seen enhancing the Koopalings when the heroes reach them in castles. The background music that plays in this world was rearranged in Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. The world has a total of ten levels and is the only World to not feature a Koopaling as a boss, to have the airship level be before the castle and to have different castle and tower bosses. This world is volcano-themed, with many of the levels featuring lava-themed enemies such as Lava Bubbles. World 8 (also known as Bowser's World ) is the final main world in New Super Mario Bros.
